Since the electricity market deregulated in 2002, significant changes
have taken place. Most notably, electricity costs have increased
by 30%. Other changes that have resulted include the introduction
of independent electricity suppliers, energy taxes (PSO Levy) on
bills and different prices for winter and summer usage. Further
electricity price increases announced in August 2004, now mean that
a 13% increase in prices will again be incurred by January 2005.
At Energy Administration Services, we offer a number of services
to our clients in order to reduce their energy costs, most of which
are available on a no savings, no cost approach, so unless savings
are identified, no costs are incurred by the client.
