Demand
Management
Peaks typically occur the first thing in the morning at the
beginning of the business day, and between 5pm and 7pm. If
customers are on the Maximum Demand tariffs, then these peaks
become of greater importance. The higher the electricity usage
peaks, the higher the cost to the consumer.
By analysing the demand profile, we at Energy Administration
Services advise on how to reduce peaks in electricity performance.
This in turn leads to the reduction of the amount paid by
our clients on their electricity bills.
We reduce peaks in demand by using software packages to track
the consumption pattern over a period of time, identifying
patterns of usage in the process. By reducing non-essential
loads, the maximum demand peaks can be reduced.
